WARNING: NON-G-RATED ENTRY COMING UP: A. and I went to see Jackie Clarke's solo show, "Full Metal Jackie", at the UCB Theater tonight. It was hilarious but also weirdly sweet and sentimental, more like a movie than your typical standup routine. I really liked it. My favorite part is when she pees in the catbox. Jackie Clarke is probably most famous for getting sued by Eve Ensler over the name of her previous show, Big Vagina Monologues, which I'm sad about missing because its premise sounds even better than the "hand jobs, braces and blow" of FMJ. Her website (linked above) has some pretty funny (but dirty) journal entries in it. Please don't read it if you got mad at me after the octopus porn links from last week, ok?
